According to what was revealed by Deadline, Warner Bros. has postponed the release date of Salem's Lot (aka Zalės valda), the new film adaptation of Stephen King's novel of the same name.
Produced by James Wan (Malignant) together with his Atomic Monster, Salem nights features Gary Dauberman, director of Annabelle 3 (2019) and screenwriter of Annabelle, The Nun: The Calling of Evil, EN and EN: Chapter Two.
The film will arrive in theaters in 2023 and no longer on September 9, 2022, as previously announced.

In the new Salem's Lot, Lewis Pullman (The Strangers: Prey at Night) is Ben Mears, the writer who reaches the small town Salem's Lot, Maine, to focus on his new novel. The place, however, is inhabited by a community of vampires, and the writer will try to convince a group of people to fight the dangerous beings.

In Salem's Lot, very young Jordan Preston Carter (The Violent Heart), Nicholas Crovetti (Witch Hunt) and Cade Woodward (A Quite Place) play Mark Petrie, Danny and brother Ralphie Glick, respectively. The latter, we recall, is one of the first kids turned into a vampire by Barlow.

Completing the cast are Makenzie Leigh (James White), Bill Camp (Joker - 2019), Spencer Treat Clark (Glass), William Sadler (The Mist), Alfre Woodard , John Benjamin Hickey and Pilou Asbæk.Gary.
Director and screenwriter Gary Dauberman also appears in the project as writer and executive producer.
