World premiered at TIFF 2019, Saint Maud (UK - 2019) deals with the themes of religious bigotry and illness.
Morfydd Clark plays Maud, a young nurse who develops a real obsession with Amanda (Jennifer Ehle), the terminal patient she cares for. In particular, she will set her sights on saving the woman's soul, but her dark past will rise to the surface, amplifying her torments and thus thwarting her mission.
