Morfydd Clark is Maud, a young nurse who develops a real obsession with Amanda (Jennifer Ehle), the terminal patient she cares for. In particular, she will set out to save the woman's soul, but her dark past will rise to the surface, amplifying her torments and thus thwarting her mission.
