The new trailer for Sadako vs. Kayako, the horror film in which two Japanese horror icons collide in the wake of more classic titles such as Freddy vs. Jason. The result is a meeting point (and clash) between two famous franchises, both based on a curse: Ringu and Ju-On. Famous sagas that over the years have spawned remakes and films that have paid tribute to them.
The two vengeful raven-black-haired ghosts, icons of the 
Eastern horror cinema, come into contact with each other thanks to this film directed by Kôji Shiraishi (Grotesque and Noroi - The Curse). And there goes Sadako of the saga Ringu and Kayako of the Ju-On will find themselves together manifesting their hatred accompanied by resentment and thirst for revenge.
Mizuki Yamamoto (Close Range Love and Black Butler) plays Yuri Kurahashi, a girl tormented by the two struggling evil spirits, who will clash in the final sequence. Also in the cast are Tina Tamashiro, Aimi Satsukawa, Misato Tanaka, Masahiro Kômoto, Masanobu Andô, and Takako Fuji.
The distribution date for Sadako vs. Kayako is set for June 18 for Japan.
