After the release of the first trailer of Rings (link to news story) thanks to Paramount Pictures, the film's Italian poster has also been released. Directed by F. Javier Gutiérrez (Tres dÃas), Rings is the third installment in the franchise The Ring and will be released in U.S. theaters on Oct. 28 while it will arrive in Italian theaters starting Nov. 10.
Plot: Holt (Alex Roe), the boyfriend of Julia (Matilda Lutz), comes into possession of the dangerous videotape that is said to kill, after seven days, anyone who has seen it. The girl, determined to sacrifice herself in order to save Holt, will make a terrifying discovery: the presence of a "film in the film" that no one, until then, knew about.
Jacob Aaron Estes, Akiva Goldsman and David Loucka collaborated on the film's screenplay.
The names of the actors who make up the cast are: Johnny Galecki, Aimee Teegarden, Laura Wiggins, Zach Roerig, Andrea Powell, Brandon Larracuente, Jill Jane Clements, Dave Blamy, Surely Alvelo, Patrick R. Walker, and Adam Fristoe.
