Directors Gregor Barclay and Colin Bell have announced their crowdfunding campaign for the realization of Ribbons, a post-apocalyptic horror film along the lines of films such as. The Mist, District 9, The Road, Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane.

What would you do if the end of the world started right when you were having dinner? Ribbons is the story of five guests who, locked in a basement, will try to make sense of their fate. One doubt, however, lingers in their bunker: is their greatest threat really out there?
The film, which will begin shooting in March, is produced by Grant McPhee of Tartan Features (Night Kaleidoscope) and Paul Thomas of xFilm (Fragments of May, Crocodile).
