These days Dimension Films has revealed the poster for Polaroid, the thriller/horror film that will debut in U.S. theaters on August 25, 2017. The film is the first installment in a new franchise whose producers are Roy Lee (The Ring, The Grudge) and Chris Bender (Ruins, Zombeavers).
Written by Blair Butler and directed by Lars Klevberg, Polaroid collects elements of The Ring and Final Destination and to which a personal touch was added to the story in order to achieve, as a result, a unique and terrifying film.
Trama: la studentessa Bird Fitcher entra in possesso di una Polaroid maledetta. Chiunque venga fotografato dalla macchina andrà incontro ad una fine tragica e violenta. Con l'aiuto dei suoi amici, la ragazza cercherà di risolvere il mistero legato alla macchina fotografica prima che sia troppo tardi.

Polaroid è l'estensione cinematografica dell'omonimo cortometraggio diretto dallo stesso regista nel 2015.
