Directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters, The Strangers: Prey at Night), Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is the reboot of Resident Evil, an action-horror and science fiction film saga loosely based on the survival horror video game series of the same name that has captivated millions around the world.
This new chapter stars Kaya Scodelario (Crawl), Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and the Wasp), Robbie Amell, Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy), Chad Rook, Avan Jogia (Zombieland: Double Tap), Marina Mazepa, Neal McDonough and Donal Logue (Silent Night).
Plot: Raccoon City. What was once the headquarters of the pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation is now reduced to a decaying Midwestern town. The company's exodus has turned the city into a desolate place that harbors something extremely evil beneath the surface.
Awakened to evil, the citizens will undergo a terrible mutation, and a small group of survivors must join forces in order to uncover the truth behind the Umbrella Corporation and try to survive the night.
