Cleopatra Films has announced the relase date of The Black Room (USA - 2016), l'horror sovrannaturale sul demone lussurioso che vedrà la luce nei cinema statunitensi e che sarà disponibile per il VOD a partire dal 28 aprile. Per il DVD e il Blu-ray invece si dovrà attendere il 18 giugno.
The Black Room is written and directed by Rolfe Kanefsky (Corpses, Dead scared - Deadly initiation, Nightmare Man) and is a supernatural horror film in which the main characters will have to deal with a ferocious lecherous demon.
Plot: Paul (Lukas Hassel) and Jennifer (Natasha Henstridge) move into their dream home. Here, however, their idyllic marriage will go into crisis when the couple discover the secret behind a black door located in the basement. A devilish entity driven by lust has been living in that dwelling for some time. The demon uses seduction to corrupt and kill everyone it comes in contact with. Paul will be the first to experience the hellish pleasures of the flesh.
The cast of The Black Room boasts the presence of such well-known actors as Lin Shaye (Dead End, Insidious, Ouija: The Origin of Evil), scream queen Tiffany Shepis (Wrath of the Crows, Model Hunger) and Natasha Henstridge (Deadly Species, Ghosts from Mars) but also Augie Duke (Spring), Caleb Scott, Lukas Hassel, James Duval (Donnie Darko, Delirium), Dominique Swain, Victoria De Mare, Nick Principe, Catherine Annette, Elissa Dowling, Jill Evyn, Rachel Riley and Beverly Swanson.
The film is produced by Esther M. Goodstein (Slay Belles) and David Skye. Brian Perera is the executive producer.
