In recent hours, news has been released that Gary Shore, the director of Dracula Untold (USA, Giappone - 2014), ha firmato la regia di un nuovo film sui vampiri dal titolo Red River. The screenplay for this thriller/horror instead was assigned to Roman Blaney.
As in Dracula Untold, also in Red Viver the protagonist is a vampire. Specifically, he is a bloodthirsty drifter who will help an immigrant family by avenging the death of their father.
Red River è attualmente in pre-produzione e le riprese saranno avviate a fine anno in Irlanda del Nord. Intanto Gary Shore, autore anche del segmento "St. Patrick's Day" presente nell'horror corale Holidays (2016), revealed that he was satisfied with Blaney's script (powerful, violent and moving).
Mark Huffam (Alien: Covenant) will produce along with Piers Tempest, Martin Brennan and Michael B. Jackson. XYZ Films appears as executive producer.
