They are currently On pre-order on Amazon the DVD and Blu-ray of Red Krokodil, the new release from Unearthed Films, an American label that offers extreme horror films to audiences. The two formats, rich in special content, will then be available from January 23, 2018.
Red Krokodil (link to review) will be presented in a director's cut version (a 2K restoration) with a new color.
Red Krokodil (Italy - 2014) is directed by Italian director Domiziano Cristopharo (House of Flesh Mannequins, Doll Syndrome, Hyde's Secret Nightmare), recently involved in American Guinea Pig: Sacrifice (review here) as director of photography and producer.
As per title, Red Krokodil addresses the topic of krokodil, a drug that causes skin desquamation and tissue necrosis.
In the film, Brock Madson (sole actor) plays a drug addict left to his own devices. His performance mirrors the psychophysical consequences caused by krokodil.
