As previously anticipated in recent months, Artsploitation has been responsible for the distribution of Red Christmas, the Australian horror film about Christmas. In fact, the film will be available for VOD and also in DVD and Blu-ray formats starting October 17, 2017. Red Christmas is written and directed by actor-director Craig Anderson and stars horror icon Dee Wallace (The Hills Have Eyes, The Howling, Cujo, Critters - The Extraterrestrials), here as a mother who will try to protect her family from a dangerous intruder.
Red Christmas mixes monotonous family gatherings with issues concerning abortion, ethics, feminism, religion, and privacy. Themes to which are added buried secrets that, once they rise to the surface, will trigger bloody events.
