American producer and director Morgan Spurlock was responsible for directing Rats, a documentary genre film about mice and whose trailer has already been released. Presented these days at the Toronto Film Festival, Rats sarà trasmesso da Discovery Channel negli USA ad ottobre. Sebbene si tratti di un documentario, in realtà quest'opera diventa un vero e proprio manifesto horror per quanti soffrono di musofobia ovvero di paura di ratti e roditori vari.
Spurlock's film documents the rat infestations of the world's major cities, particularly that of New York City. Rats thus aims to explore even the subsoils infested with 
questi roditori, esaminando così la vita di quello che è considerato il più grande parassita dell'uomo: il ratto.
