Sisters Jen and Sylvia Soska (American Mary, See No Evil 2, Puppet Killer) will direct the remake of Rabid - Sete di sangue, the body horror film directed by Canadian director David Cronenberg in 1977 and representing one of his nightmares about the metamorphosis of the body.

In Rabid - Sete di Sangue, Rose and Hart crash their motorcycle. The girl, severely burned, is treated by Dr. Keloid, who undergoes a transplant of tissue removed from deceased people. Some time later Rose manifests strange behavior caused by a terrible infection. Transformed into a bloodthirsty monster, the girl, infects everyone she attacks. The contagion begins to spread, uncontrollably.
