Brian Tyree Henry has joined the cast of A Quiet Place 2, the sequel to A Quiet Place - A Quiet Place (USA – 2018). L'attore ha recitato in film come Cocaine - La vera storia di White Boy Rick, Widows: Criminal Legacy and in the recent Chucky.
A Quiet Place 2 sees John Krasinski, the director of the first chapter, again directing, who also handled the screenplay.
The US release date has been set for March 20, 2020.
The story of the sequel is expected to follow the Abbott family's story again, as Emily Blunt will return as Evelyn. Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe, the other leads from the first film, are also in talks to join the cast in which Cillian Murphy (28 Days Later, Inception) is already confirmed.
With a budget of 17 million, A Quiet Place - A Quiet Place has grossed more than $340 million worldwide. The film is a sci-fi horror that veers into the dramatic genre. The protagonist of the story is a family forced to live in absolute silence so as not to be hunted down by mysterious creatures attracted by noise. Isolated from everything and without uttering a word, Mr. and Mrs. Abbott (John Krasinski and Emily Blunt) and their three minor children will communicate with each other exclusively through sign language.
