The evil doll movie subgenre continues to thicken with new movies about killer dolls including Annabelle, Robert The Doll, The Boy and the announced Puppet Master: Axis Termination (the 11th chapter of the saga Puppet Master).
Also added to the list is Puppet Killer, the horror comedy by American actress, producer and director Lisa Ovies, who decided to make a film about killer dolls by involving in the cast sisters Jen and Sylvia Soska (American Mary, See No Evil 2, Give It Up, Kill-Crazy Nymphos Attack), who have now become true icons of the horror scene.
The Soskas were also responsible for the screenplay of Puppet Killer along with Kevin Mosley. In the cast, in addition to the twins, are Aleks Paunovic, Richard Harmon, Sage Brocklebank, Johannah Newmarch, Geoff Gustafson, Catherine Lough Haggquist, Beverley Elliott, and Mike Coleman
Filming of the film began a few days ago.
