The story of Profane sheds light on Muna (Manal Kara), a Muslim dominatrix in the midst of a spiritual crisis.
Plot: Muna is a young Jordanian woman who was driven from her homeland as a child because she couldn't memorize the verses of the Quran. She now lives a difficult life as a dominatrix alongside her best friend Mary (Molly Plunk). The two live in the United States, driven by drugs, outrageous behavior, and bad decisions. When Muna begins to hear voices, a young Muslim taxi driver informs her that they could be Djinn...
