Online the first trailer of Prey (USA - 2022), the new installment of the celebrated fantasy-horror franchise Predator.
Produced by Disney and 20th Century Studios, Prey is directed by Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane, Black Mirror, The Boys) on a screenplay by Patrick Aison (Kingdom, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan).
The film is a prequel and will be available from August 5 for streaming on Hulu in the US and on Star in the rest of the world.
Prey is the fifth installment in the saga about alien hunters started in 1987 by John McTiernan with Predator.
Set on the Great Plains in 1719, the story takes place in the Native American Comanche nation three centuries before the events narrated in the original film starring Arnold Schwrzenegger. The plot features a warrior named Naru (Amber Midthunder) called upon to protect her tribe from a highly evolved alien invader.
In addition to Amber Midthunter, the cast also includes Dakota Beavers, Kyle Strauts (The Predator - 2018), Dane DiLiegro, Stefany Mathias and CJ Collard.
