Produced by Disney and 20th Century Studios, Prey è il nuovo capitolo del celebre franchise fanta-horror Predator and is directed by Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane, Black Mirror, The Boys) on a screenplay by Patrick Aison (Kingdom, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan).
Il film è un prequel e vedrà la luce su Hulu nei prossimi mesi.
Prey is the fifth installment in the famous fantasy-horror saga about alien hunters started in 1987 by John McTiernan with Predator.
La storia si svolge nella nazione dei nativi americani Comanche tre secoli prima degli eventi narrati nel film originale con Arnold Schwrzenegger. La trama vede protagonista una guerriera di nome Naru (Amber Midthunder) chiamata a proteggere la sua tribù da un invasore alieno altamente evoluto.
Nel cast, oltre ad Amber Midthunter, figurano anche Dakota Beavers, Kyle Strauts (The Predator – 2018), Dane DiLiegro, Stefany Mathias e CJ Collard.
