Following the July posters, Black Mandala Productions has shared the trailer for Pretty Boy (USA - 2021), the horror slasher about Valentine's Day and featuring Marcel Walz (Kadaver, La petite mort, Seed 2, Blood Feast - 2016, Blind) in the director's booth.
Presented as a bloody, sexy, funny and gore film, Pretty Boy is the spinoff of Blind (2019) and again stars Sarah French and Jed Rowen, here as the blind woman and the murderer with his face covered by a mask, respectively.
Blind Is inspired by the films of the 1970s while Pretty Boy Is an homage to the slasher sagas of the 1980s.
The story of Pretty Boy ties in with that of the first chapter and follows Pretty Boy, a masked psychopath who kidnaps former actress Faye (Sarah French), a blind woman, and then shows up with her at a Valentine's Day party where he will continue to shed blood.
The cast includes Jed Rowen (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde - 2017), Sarah French (Clown Fear), Devanny Pinn (The Dawn), Heather Grace Hancock (Wicked City) and Jake Red.
The screenplay of Pretty Boy is edited by Joe Knetter (Terror Overload, Strip Club Slasher), former author of the script for Blind.
The film had its world premiere at the Popcorn Frights Festival last August.
