After distributing the immense The bodies show evidence of rape (aka Torso), CG Entertainment has decided to recover another important film in the Italian director's cinematography namely the giallo The strange vice of Mrs. Wardh with Edwige Fenech.
The actress plays Julie Wardh, a seemingly quiet woman in love with her husband Neil (Alberto de Mendoza), a diplomat who, however, neglects her. In reality, Julie harbors a troubled past of which she still retains memories of a deviant and violent love affair that bordered on sadomasochism. Her ex, Jean (Ivan Rassimov), has never accepted that he was abandoned and continues to pursue her. Meanwhile, she falls in love with George (George Hilton), a man she met at a party, incurring the wrath of her former lover.
The cast includes Edwige Fenech, George Hilton, Ivan Rassimov, Alberto de Mendoza, Cristina Airoldi, Manuel Gil, Bruno Corazzari, Carlo Alighiero, and Brizio Montinaro.
The screenplay for the film is by Vittorio Caronia, Ernesto Gastaldi and Eduardo Manzanos Brochero.
