The official poster and trailer for the The Caretaker, the first horror genre film directed by Jeff Prugh. The Caretaker, whose story features a young girl who will have to take care of her grandmother-sister with psychological problems, will be available for VOD on September 30.
Plot: Birdie (Sondra Blake) is an elderly woman with physical and mental problems whose strange behavior has driven her caregiver away. Taking care of her now is her granddaughter Mallorie (Meegan Warner) who moves in with her boyfriend August to the woman's Victorian home. For the girl, however, it will not be easy to handle the situation, not least because, as early as the first night, she begins to suffer from somnambulism and to be tormented by strange, creepy visions. Responsible for her malaise is Birdie herself, who uses clairvoyance to summon the spirit of an old circus clown to haunt her granddaughter. While waiting for a caregiver to replace her, Mallorie will try to uncover Birdie's darkest secrets before madness clouds her reason.
