cellRelease set for sci-fi horror film Cell, the film adaptation of Stephen King's 2006 apocalyptic novel of the same name. The film, for which trailers and posters are already available thanks to Lions Gate and Saban Films, will be released in U.S. theaters starting next July 8, a date that coincides with the video-on-demand date.

In the cast: Samuel L. Jackson, John Cusack, Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan), Stacy Keach, Owen Teague, Joshua Mikel, Griffin Freeman, Rey Hernandez, Wilbur Fitzgerald, E. Roger Mitchell, Catherine Dyer, and Alex ter Avest.
