Posters for Mockingbird, the found footage-style horror thriller film written and directed by Bryan Bertino, the director of The Strangers (2008).
Mockingbird will be available in Digital HD from October 7, 2014, and on Blu-ray and DVD from October 21, distributed by Universal Pictures.
Protagonists of Mockingbird are a married couple, a young woman and a young man who live together with the latter's mother. At different times, each of them will receive as a gift a video camera equipped with instructions. In order not to die, each of them will be forced to record videos by adhering to certain rules.
Of the cast of Mockingbird stars Colby French, Alexandra Lydon, Todd Stashwick, Audrey Marie Anderson, Spencer List, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Benjamin Stockham. Production was handled by the director himself along with Jason Blum (the producer of Insidious, Paranormal Activity and Anarchy - Judgment Night) and Adrienne Biddle.
The trailer release will coincide with the film's debut.
Bryan Bertino is currently struggling with There Are Monsters, a horror genre film.
