We attach to this article the new poster of 31 depicting Doom-Head (Richard Brake), one of the villains in the film. 31 is written and directed by Rob Zombie (The house of a thousand bodies, The House of the Devil, Halloween, The Witches of Salem) and will be available for VOD on September 16, 2016. A month later, however, on October 21, it will debut in U.S. theaters thanks to Saban Films.
31 was presented by the director himself as a "deviant and extremely violent" film, a cinematic work in which even the "dialogues will be vicious and there will be no shortage of sexual content and drug use." For this very reason, the film had received an NC-17 censorship visa and then, after a series of "cuts," a more favorable rating namely R.
Rob Zombie, however, reassures his fans by stating that there will be an uncut version of 31.
Plot: On Oct. 30, five people are kidnapped and locked up in a gloomy and sinister place known as "Murder World." Here the hostages will be forced to participate in a terrifying game called "31," lasting 12 hours, in which they must try to survive. During this time, The Heads, psychopaths masquerading as clowns, will try to kill them.
The cast of 31 consists of Sheri Moon Zombie, Malcolm McDowell, Judy Geeson, Richard Brake, Meg Foster, Ginger Lynn, Daniel Roebuck, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Jane Carr, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Tracy Walter, E.G. Daily, Torsten Voges, Pancho Moler, Bari Suzuki, and Devin Sidell.
