It's back to talking about House of Many Sorrows, the new genre film written, produced and directed by Barry J. Gillis, the director of The Killing Games.
Cinematography for the film is by Gabriel Yee, while joining the cast is Ginger Lynn Allen (for the role of Jocelyn Mathers), an American actress who has been active in the adult film industry since the 1980s and is considered one of the fifty most important porn stars in the history of hardcore cinema. Outside the red-light sphere, the very blond Ginger Lynn Allen also starred in The House of the Devil and other films outside the horror genre.
In addition to Ginger Lynn Allen (pictured left), the other cast members are Kim Sønderholm (The Horror Vault, Craig, Sinister Visions...), Tom Malloy (The Alphabet Killer), Samantha Brownlee, Jolene Mackenzie, Betty Maxwell, and John Garofalo II.
The story of House of Many Sorrows centers on an inn run by Mrs. Murial Caverly (Betty Maxwell). Following an illness that has left her bedridden, it is the woman's son, a mentally unstable man, who takes over the running of the place. Unfortunately, a series of murders involving guests at the bed and breakfast, and occurring right during his management, turns suspicion right back on him.
The film is expected to be released in 2015.
