Revealed the official trailer for Polaroid (USA, Norvegia - 2017), il primo capitolo di un nuovo franchise horror i cui produttori sono Roy Lee (The Ring, The Grudge) e Chris Bender (Rovine, Zombeavers). Scritto da Blair Butler e diretto da Lars Klevberg, questo thriller/horror presenta elementi che ricordano The Ring e Final Destination.
The film will debut in U.S. theaters on August 25, 2017, as previously announced last April (link to news story). Polaroid is the film extension of the short film of the same name directed by the same director in 2015.
Trama: la studentessa Bird Fitcher entra in possesso di una misteriosa Polaroid. L'oggetto però sembra essere maledetto poiché chiunque venga fotografato andrà incontro ad una morte violenta. Con l’aiuto dei suoi amici, la giovane cercherà di risolvere il mistero legato alla macchina fotografica prima che sia troppo tardi.
The cast includes: Madelaine Petsch, Javier Botet (Rec, The Mother, It), Grace Zabriskie (The Grudge), Kathryn Prescott (The Hive), Katie Stevens, Mitch Pileggi, Tyler Young, Keenan Tracey (Bates Motel), Shauna MacDonald (Saw VII) and Samantha Logan.
