Patrick Lussier, the director of Prophecy (2000) e 3D Blood Valentine's Day (2009), returns to the director's booth for Play Dead, his new horror genre film for which the official trailer is already available.
Starring Bailee Madison (The Strangers: Prey at Night) and Jerry O'Connell (Piranha 3D), Play Dead will arrive first on Icon Film Channel on February 13 and then in UK theaters on March 17, 2023.
In Play Dead, Choe (Bailee Madison), a criminology student, pretends to be dead in order to break into a local morgue and steal evidence linking her younger brother to a crime. Once inside, however, the girl discovers that the medical examiner (Jerry O'Connell) is using the business as a front for organ trafficking.
When the man realizes that Chloe is not dead, it will not be easy for the young woman to get out of that hell alive.
The script of Play Dead is by Simon Boyes and Adam Mason, the writers/directors of The devil's chair (2007). Instead, the producers include Johannes Roberts, the director of 47 meters and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.
Anthony Turpel, Chris Butler, Chris Lee and Jorge-Luis Pallo complete the cast.
