The poster and teaser trailer for Pinocchio Unleashed are now online, the horror film in which childhood innocence turns into a nightmare.
Currently in production in London, this dark fairy tale is a twisted reimagining of the famous wooden puppet who comes to life and is part of many childhood memories.
Pinocchio Unleashed is written and directed by Carlo Bath, with the U.S. release scheduled for later this year.
Plot: a puppet escapes from the workshop of his creator, only to find himself in a fragmented world ruled by fear and false appearances. Every step toward humanity forces him to make choices that put his morality to the test.
Along his journey, he will confront figures that embody themes of temptation, betrayal, and redemption.
Rich in practical effects, the film is produced by Carlo Bath via his Film It VFX Studio alongside JNR Productions and Mad Angel Entertainment.
The cast includes James Wingate, Stephen Guy, Jerome Wise and Katie Jarvis.
