Pig Killer will have its world premiere at the Sydney Underground Film Festival on September 9.
Nel film, Jake Busey interpreta l'assassino Robert Pickton. Nel cast figurano anche Lew Temple (The Devil’s Rejects), Kate Patel, Robert Miano, Robert “Corpsy” Rhine, Bai Ling, Silvia Spross, James Russo, Cassandra Gava, Ginger Lynn, Cyril O’Reilly e Michael Paré.

Robert Pickton was a farmer and pig farmer suspected of being one of the most prolific serial killers in Canadian history.
Si ritiene che gli omicidi siano iniziati nei primi anni '80, dopo aver ereditato la fattoria di famiglia e aver dato vita alla Piggy Palace Good Times Society, una società no-profit dove in realtà avevano luogo festini orgiastici in un edificio adiacente alla fattoria. A questi party erano spesso presenti molte ballerine di night club, tossicodipendenti e prostitute. Le vittime perfette.
Fu arrestato nel 2002 e condannato all'ergastolo per l'omicidio di 26 donne ma poi ad un agente sotto copertura (fintosi compagno di cella) confidò di averne uccise 49, col rammarico di non essere riuscito ad arrivare a 50 delitti.
Pickton disposed of the victims' remains by feeding them to pigs, after strangling, slitting, disemboweling or killing them by injecting antifreeze liquid into the addicts' veins.
