Phobia: 11 of the phobias addressed in the horror anthology revealed

An international collective project titled Phobia. Presented by Tony Newton's Vestra Pictures (which produced Grindsploitation and Virus of the dead) and Domiziano Cristopharo's The Enchanted Architect (Red Krokodil and Sacrifice), this anthology involves as many as 15 international filmmakers who will deal with a specific phobia in their episode.

Among the directors involved are Italians Domiziano Cristopharo (Virus Extreme Contamination, House of Flesh Mannequins), Alessandro Redaelli ("King Plague" in POE 3 - Pieces of Eldritch) and Alessandro Giordani (The Insomniac), then also James Quinn (The Law of Sodom), Sam Mason Bell (The Making of), Jason Impey (Home Made), Chris Milewski (Welcome to the World, my Child), Tony Newton (60 Seconds to Die), Sunny King, Jason Figgis (The Ecstasy of Isabel Mann, Don't You Recognise Me?), Michael J. Epstein, and Sophia Cacciola.

The horror anthology Phobia will thus embrace as many as 15 psychopathological manifestations, disorders that, in the most severe cases, drastically limit the autonomy of the sufferer. We are pleased to present, in addition to the new poster, eleven phobias (by the way, quite bizarre) that as many directors will interpret and develop with originality in their segments, enriching them with very special implications.
The final 4 filmmakers, selected internationally through the web, will have to submit their unpublished 5-minute short film, which will eventually be included in the anthology. To submit material: phobia2017@gmail.com.

• Sunny King (NIGERIA) - Entomophobia - Fear of insects
• Michael J. Epstein (USA) and Sophia Cacciola (USA) - Trypophobia - Fear of holes and punctured surfaces.
