La label svedese Last Exit Entertainment ha annunciato la release di un'edizione limitata in 500 copie di Philosophy of a Knife (2008), a film by Russian director Andrey Iskanov. This is a version for the European market intended for collectors and consists of 3 discs i.e. 2 DVDs and a compact disc.
The release date is set for May 23 next year while the date for pre-order will be announced soon.
Philosophy of a Knife is a horror film lasting over 4 hours, written, produced and directed by the visionary Andrey Iskanov. The film, divided into two parts, is acted in Russian and is shot in black and white except for the interviews contained therein. Philosophy of a Knife fonde la messa in scena artistica e deviata di Iskanov a materiale d'archivio riguardante le torture e gli esperimenti inflitti dai giapponesi dell'Unità 731 (gruppo operativo dal 1936 al 1945) ai danni dei prigionieri cinesi.
