Dopo l'annuncio di un nuovo film di Dario Argento con protagonista Isabelle Huppert, arriva un'altra notizia che riguarda il celebre regista romano. Titanus è infatti al lavoro sul sequel di uno dei suoi capolavori più noti: Phenomena, supernatural horror starring Jennifer Connelly in 1985.
In recent hours, Titanus announced that the sequel is already in production and will be the result of an agreement with the American company The Exchange. Dario Argento will also not be directing, and although it has not been explicitly stated, it appears that the Master of Chills will not be involved in the project in any way.
Stando a quanto rivelato da Stefano Bethlen, il direttore generale di Titanus, si tratterà di "un sequel più che un remake. Un film americano con un regista americano e con un cast internazionale".
The sequel is currently untitled while details on plot, casting and release date have not yet been revealed.
In Phenomena (1985) Jennifer Connelly interpreta Jennifer Corvino, un'adolescente statunitense che viene mandata da suo padre, il famoso attore Paul Corvino, in un collegio femminile a Zurigo dove da qualche tempo si aggira un misterioso serial killer.
