The ghost of the stage (Phantom of the Paradise) sarà disponibile da domani 7 marzo sia in DVD che in Blu-ray grazie a Pulp Video. A distribuirlo è CG Entertainment che come ogni mese propone interessanti e imperdibili film per l'Home Video.
Alla regia di questo musical thriller/horror c'è Brian De Palma (Carrie - Lo sguardo di Satana, Fury, Vestito per uccidere).
Trama: Swan è un manager che sta per aprire il "Paradise", un locale dedicato alla musica. Per l'inaugurazione desidera avere un gruppo nuovo e che abbia un forte impatto sul pubblico. Durante le audizioni, si imbatte in Winslow Leach, un musicista che si sta dedicando alla versione rock del Faust. Swan lo obbliga a firmare un contratto falso e poi lo fa rinchiudere per rubargli la musica. Winslow però riesce ad evadere, pronto a vendicarsi ma qualcosa di molto grave renderà la sua vendetta ancora più cruenta.
