Paramount Pictures has released the trailer along with the official Italian poster for. Pet Sematary, the new film based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. Produced by Steven Schneider, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian, Pet Sematary is directed by Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer (the directors of Starry Eyes) and will debut in U.S. theaters on April 5, 2019.
Protagonista della storia è il dottor Louis Creed (Jason Clarke) che, dopo essersi trasferito da Boston in un piccolo paesino del Maine insieme alla moglie Rachel (Amy Seimetz) e ai due piccoli figli Ellie (Jeté Laurence) e Gage (Hugo e Lucas Lavoie), scopre l'esistenza di un misterioso cimitero per animali nei pressi della sua abitazione. Dopo una tragedia, il padre di famiglia fa amicizia con il suo strano vicino, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow) e poco dopo si verificherà una serie di inquietanti e tragici eventi.
