Anticipated release date of Pet Sematary, the new adaptation of Stephen King's (1983) horror novel of the same name. In fact, the film will debut in U.S. theaters on April 5, not April 19 as originally set by Paramount Pictures.
Produced by Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Steven Schneider and Mark Vahradian, Pet Sematary vede alla regia Kevin Kolsch e Dennis Widmyer, il duo che ha scritto e diretto l'horror sulla possessione Starry Eyes (USA, Belgium - 2014). The screenplay of Pet Sematary instead is edited by Jeff Buhler and David Kajganich.
In Pet Sematary, Jason Clarke (The Widow Winchester) will play Louis Creed while John Lithgow (Twilight Zone, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Interstellar) will be Jud Crandall, Creed's neighbor.
Plot: Louis Creed moves into a new home with his wife Rachel and their children Ellie and Cage. The home, however, is located near an animal cemetery, a place where buried creatures come back to life.
Stephen King's celebrated novel already enjoys an extraordinary film adaptation. It is about Living cemetery directed by Mary Lambert in 1989. The director also authored the sequel Living Cemetery 2 (1992).
