After years of silence, talk of the remake of Jacob's Ladder (Jacob's Ladder), the supernatural/horror thriller directed by Adrian Lyne in 1990 and starring Tim Robbins as a Vietnam veteran in the grip of horrific hallucinations.
A dirigere il rifacimento sarà David M. Rosenthal mentre la sceneggiatura è affidata a Sarah Thorpe e a Jeff Buhler. Quest'ultimo è lo sceneggiatore di Prossima fermata: l'Inferno (Midnight Meat Train) as well as the writer and director of Insanitarium. Confirmed for the lead role is Michael Ealy (Underworld - Il risveglio).
The plot of the film has not yet been revealed but it is rumored to be a thriller/action/horror in which the main characters are two brothers. The themes of the original film will not be missing in the remake but will be placed in a modern context.
Joining the film production are Michael Gaeta, Mickey Liddell, Jennifer Monroe, Alison Rosenzweig and Will Packer.
