Perverse hallucination: the director and screenwriters of the remake

jacobAfter years of silence, talk of the remake of Jacob's Ladder (Jacob's Ladder), the supernatural/horror thriller directed by Adrian Lyne in 1990 and starring Tim Robbins as a Vietnam veteran in the grip of horrific hallucinations.

Directing the remake will be David M. Rosenthal while the screenplay is assigned to Sarah Thorpe and Jeff Buhler. The latter is the screenwriter of Next stop: hell (Midnight Meat Train) as well as the writer and director of Insanitarium. Confirmed for the lead role is Michael Ealy (Underworld - The Awakening).

The plot of the film has not yet been revealed but it is rumored to be a thriller/action/horror in which the main characters are two brothers. The themes of the original film will not be missing in the remake but will be placed in a modern context.

Joining the film production are Michael Gaeta, Mickey Liddell, Jennifer Monroe, Alison Rosenzweig and Will Packer.
