Almost a year after the first news, torniamo a parlare dell'horror fantascientifico Peripheral (UK – 2018) regarding the release of the official trailer. The film is directed by Paul Hyett, the director of The Seasoning House (2012), Howl (2015) and the recent Heretiks.
Peripheral blends modern technology with that of the past for a horror story with a vintage touch.
Plot: Bobbi Johnson (Hannah Arterton) is a writer struggling with her second novel. A stalker and her obsessive ex-boyfriend prevent her from concentrating, so her editor advises her to use new editing software. However, Bobbi finds herself dealing with a manipulative artificial intelligence determined to achieve its goals.
A victim of mind control, the writer will be forced to write, battling her own addictions and hallucinations, so as not to become a cog in a monstrous machine.
