After the release of the first image of Pennywise (link all'articolo), a new photo of the clown and his costume (below right) was released yesterday, again thanks to Entertainment Weekly. Meanwhile, filming continues on It whose release is set for September 8, 2017.
In charge of directing the new adaptation of Stephen King's famous novel (1986) is Andy Muschietti, known for directing The Mother. The director also edited the screenplay of It along with Gary Dauberman.
The diabolical clown Pennywise, on the other hand, will be played by Swede Bill Skarsgård (Hemlock Grove). Recall that this role was played by the legendary Tim Curry in the TV miniseries of the same name directed by Tommy Lee Wallace in 1990.
In addition to Bill Skarsgård, the cast includes Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween), Chosen Jacobs, Wyatt Oleff, and Jeremy Ray Taylor.
The project will consist of two parts. The first features a group of teenagers while the second will be devoted to the above characters but as adults.
