The IMAX poster of Peninsula, the sequel to the South Korean zombie movie Train to Busan (aka Busanhaeng). L'horror Peninsula is directed by Sang-ho Yeo, the director of the Asian blockbuster first installment.
The story of this new chapter takes place four years after the zombie pandemic dealt with in the previous film, focusing on the havoc wreaked by the virus that this time will spread to the entire Korean peninsula.
Plot: Jung-seok (Dong-WonGang) is a former soldier who manages to escape from the Korean peninsula, a place now infested with zombies and turned into a ghetto by other nations trying to stop the spread of the virus. Sent back with a crew on a mission, the man enters the port of Incheon to reach Seoul but is attacked. Here he discovers that there are still many survivors on the peninsula who are not yet infected.
In the cast of Peninsula: Dong-WonGang, Kwon Hae-hyo, Kim Min-jae, Jung-hyun Lee, Lee Ye Won, and Koo Kyo-hwan.
The film is expected to arrive in theaters soon.
