Revealed the poster of Parts Unknown (USA - 2018), un film a base di horror e wrestling, connubio molto sfruttato in ambito cinematografico soprattutto negli anni '50-'60. A questo periodo infatti risalgono diversi titoli in cui il protagonista è il lottatore mascherato messicano Rodolfo Guzmán Huerta (1917-1984) noto come "El Santo" ("Santo vs. las mujeres vampiro", "Santo contra hombres infernales", "Santo contra los zombies"...). Più recenti invece sono Wrestlemaniac (2006) by Jesse Baget and Wrestlers vs. Zombies (2013) by Cody Knotts.
Currently in post-production, Parts Unknown is a title that arouses a lot of interest precisely because of the theme addressed namely wrestling. The screenplay and direction of this new project are by Richard Chandler, director of Witch Hunt (link to news story) and actor in a variety of films including. The cast includes Melantha Blackthorne, Jake Roberts, Mathew Fisher, James Balsamo, Renee Lawrie, Jack Caron, Gary Lee Vincent, Ken Holmes, Angel Connell, and Alexander Hauck. U.S. wrestler Jake "The Snake" Roberts also appears in a cameo in the film.
