Directed by William Eubank (Underwater), Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin is coming to streaming on Paramount+ in the United States starting Oct. 29.
Christopher Landon, the screenwriter of four chapters in the franchise as well as the director of one of them (The Marked), is involved in this Paramount Pictures/Blumhouse Productions project. Landon is also known for directing Scout manual for the zombie apocalypse (2015), Best wishes for your death (2017) and Best wishes again for your death (2019).

Conceived by Oren Peli, who directed the first chapter in 2007, Paranormal Activity is a film saga consisting of the prequels Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) by Tod Williams and Paranormal Activity 3 (2011) by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost. In 2012 Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost directed the sequel Paranormal Activity 4 while in 2014 Christopher Landon is in charge of the spin-off The marked (Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones). Finally, Paranormal Activity - Ghost Dimension (2015) is the sequel to Paranormal Activity 3 and features Gregory Plotkin in the director's booth.
