Like the first two chapters (P.O.E.: Poetry of Eerie and P.O.E.: Project of Evil), also P.O.E. 3 è suddiviso in episodi, ciascuno dei quali è diretto da un regista differente. A comporre questa antologia sono sei segmenti introdotti dal veterano dell'horror Venantino Venantini. Il film gode anche della presenza, nel cast, di Frank Laloggia (Scarlatti - Il Thriller) nell'ultimo episodio "Mai scommettere la testa con il Diavolo".
