In anticipation of the Italian release, three commercials have been released of Overlord (USA - 2018), the sci-fi horror film that will debut in cinemas in our country on November 8 distributed by 20th Century Fox. The film is produced by J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot and is directed by Julius Avery (Son of a Gun).
The story of Overlord takes place during World War II and features a group of American soldiers who encounter a terrible Nazi experiment.
Plot: On the eve of D-Day, a group of American paratroopers lands on Nazi-occupied French soil. Devastated by war and steeped in death, this place has now become a place where savagery and inhumanity are rampant. For here the Germans are conducting terrible experiments against their enemies.
In the cast of Overlord we find Jovan Adepo, Wyatt Russell, John Magaro, Jacob Anderson, Dominic Applewhite, Iain de Caestecker, Pilou Asbæk, Mathilde Ollivier, and Bokeem Woodbine.
The screenplay for the film was written by Billy Ray (Hunger Games).
