We report the release of the new poster of Overlord (USA - 2018), the sci-fi horror film that will be released in U.S. theaters starting November 9, 2018 by Paramount Pictures. Produced by J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot and directed by Julius Avery (Son of a Gun), Overlord will debut in theaters in our country on October 25 distributed by 20th Century Fox.
The story of Overlord takes place during World War II and features a group of American soldiers who encounter a terrible Nazi experiment.
Plot: On the eve of D-Day, a group of American paratroopers lands on Nazi-occupied French soil. Devastated by war and steeped in death, this place has now become a place where savagery and inhumanity are rampant. For here the Germans are conducting terrible experiments against their enemies.
In the cast of Overlord include Jovan Adepo, Wyatt Russell, John Magaro, Jacob Anderson, Dominic Applewhite, Iain de Caestecker, Pilou Asbæk, Mathilde Ollivier, and Bokeem Woodbine.
The screenplay for the film is by Billy Ray (Hunger Games).
