Stephen Lang in "Man in The Dark"

Stephen Lang, the actor who played the blind man in Man in the Dark, will be the protagonist of Old Man, the new film by Lucky McKee (May, The Woman). Filming of the thriller The Old Man Will be launched early next year.
In addition to the US actor, Marc Senter (The Lost, Starry Eyes) is also confirmed in the cast.

The story of Old Man follows a lost hiker (Marc Senter) who comes across an eccentric and reclusive old man (Stephen Lang) living in a chalet located deep in a forest. At first cordial, the conversation between the two will become heated and troubling as it becomes clear that one or both of them may be hiding a terrifying secret.

The screenplay of Old Man is signed by Joel Veach while Aaron B. Koontz (Scare Package, The Pale Door) appears in the production of the film.
Lucky McKee is best known for directing May (2002) with Angela Bettis, the episode Malignant creature featured in the TV series Masters of Horror (2006) and also The Woman in 2011. The director also appears on the crew of Darlin', the sequel to The Woman, as a screenwriter.
