Universal Pictures has released the teaser trailer for the horror thriller Old, the new film produced, written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, the director of The Village, And the day came and The Visit.
Based on "Sandcastle," the graphic novel by Pierre Oscar Lévy and Frederik Peeters, Old will arrive in U.S. theaters on July 23, 2021.
The film's story revolves around a mysterious tropical island that has the power to rapidly age vacationers, drastically shortening their lifespan. This is what will happen to tourist couples and families, who will realize too late that the paradisiacal beach where they have been relaxing for a few hours is actually rapidly aging them.
In the cast of Old there are Rufus Sewell (The Legend of the Vampire Hunter), Thomasin McKenzie (The Hobbit - The Battle of the Five Armies), Embeth Davidtz (Army of Darkness), Eliza Scanlen (The Roads of Evil), Abbey Lee (The Neon Demon), Alex Wolff (Hereditary - The Roots of Evil), Gael GarcÃa Bernal (Blindness), Ken Leung, Vicky Krieps and Nikki Amuka-Bird.
