Red Hill Movies LLC has released the official trailer and new poster for. Johnny Gruesome, the horror film written and directed by Gregory Lamberson, the director of Slime City, New York Vampire, Slime City Massacre, Dry Bones and Killer Rack. The film will be available for video on demand from October 16, 2018 with Uncork'd Entertainment and then on DVD from January 1, 2019.
Anthony De La Torre plays student Johnny Grissom, a metal music and horror movie fan nicknamed "Johnny Gruesome" by his classmates. Died too young in a car accident, Johnny will rise from the grave to take revenge on his killers.
Johnny Gruesome is the film adaptation of the novel of the same name written by Lamberson himself in 2008. The cast includes Anthony De La Torre (Lords of Chaos), Byron Brown II , Michael DeLorenzo, Aprilann, Chris Modrzynski, Kim Piazza, Richard Lounello, Tim O'Hearn, Travis Torlone, John R. Renna, Madison Amey, Jon Cesar and Nelson Wakefield.
The film is produced by Gregory Lamberson, Tamar Lamberson and John R. Renna.
The soundtrack is by Armand Petri and Joe Rozler while the special effects are by Craig Lindberg.
