Era of Vampires (Hong Kong, Japan, Holland - 2003), the horror/action film by Wellson Chin, will be available for home video thanks to Mustang Entertainment. In fact, the label is offering it on DVD (distributed by CG Entertainment), available for purchase from August 29.
Era of Vampires is a movie about vampire slayers, vampires, and zombies, all seasoned with martial arts.
China, 19th century: martial arts master Jiang (Rongguang Yu) has been killed in combat by a vampire-zombie. Blinded by revenge, his four trusted students (Rain, Lightning, Thunder and Wind) set out on the trail of the monstrous creatures who, led by the Vampire King, have been terrorizing the villagers for some time now. Meanwhile, the legion of the undead advances unstoppably carrying out their mission.
The screenplay of Era of Vampires (aka The Era of Vampires, Vampire hunters) is by Hark Tsui.
