Just in time for Halloween, three films in the horror genre will debut in theaters this month. On the date October 29 it will be possible to view the ghost movie The Turning: The House of Evil di Floria Sigismondi, l'horror sovrannaturale The ritual of witches (the sequel to Young witches), directed by by Zoe Lister Jones and finally Possession - L'appartamento del Diavolo, l'horror sovrannaturale spagnolo di Albert Pintó.

With o1 Distribution on October 29 comes to theaters. The Turning: House of Evil, horror sovrannaturale sui fantasmi diretto da Floria Sigismondi (The Runaways). Il film è l'adattamento cinematografico de “The crackdown", the famous short novel in the horror-gothic genre written by Henry James.
Protagonista della storia è una giovane tata che viene assunta per prendersi cura degli orfani Flora e Miles, i nipoti di un ricco uomo d'affari. La ragazza però è convinta che la casa in cui vivono sia infestata e che i due ragazzini siano a conoscenza di terribili segreti.
The Turning: House of Evil stars Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Brooklynn Prince and Mackenzie Davis (Blade Runner 2049). Also in the cast are Mark Huberman, Niall Greig Fulton, Barbara Marten, Kim Adis, Denna Thomsen, and Karen Egan.
The script is by Carey W. Hayes and Chad Hayes, the screenwriters of the The Conjuring - The Conjuring and Crucifixion - Evil has been invoked.

Sempre il 29 ottobre, con Sony Pictures esordisce al cinema l'horror The ritual of witches (aka The Craft: Legacy).
Written and directed by Zoe Lister-Jones and produced by Blumhouse Productions, The ritual of witches is the sequel/reboot of Young witches (1996), the film directed by Andrew Fleming and starring Neve Campbell (Scream).
Plot: four aspiring young witches manage to get everything they want through occult powers with which, however, they will have to contend.
The cast includes Michelle Monaghan, Cailee Spaeny, David Duchovny, Gideon Adlon, Nicholas Galitzine, Lovie Simone, Charles Vandervaart, Donald MacLean Jr. and Hannah Gordon.

On Oct. 29, Lucky Red brings to theaters Possession - The Devil's Apartment (2020), the blockbuster Spanish supernatural horror film directed by Albert Pintó (Matar a Dios).
Written by Ramón Campos and Gema R. Neira, the film is based on a true story that happened in Spain's old Malasaña neighborhood.
Plot: Madrid, 1976. In search of a better future, the Olmedo family moves into an apartment in the city. The dream of a new happy life soon turns into a nightmare for the Olmedos when in the house they bought with so much sacrifice, they discover they are not alone. The apartment is a nest of dark forces and evil presences that will torment the whole family, especially little Pepe.
The cast includes Begoña Vargas, Iván Marcos, Javier Botet, Bea Segura, Sergio Castellanos, José Luis de Madariaga, Iván Renedo, Concha Velasco, and Rosa Álvarez.
